The
BSF Series walk-in vertical
exposure frames are very
innovative systems that
can be operated very easily
by one person, regardless
of very large frame sizes.
A heavy duty box section
framework has a sheet
of toughened glass attached.
The vacuum pump is located
on top for space saving
and connected by large
bore piping to the glass
frame that is drilled
on the inside faces to
allow the air to be exhausted
quickly. The vacuum pump
achieves a strong vacuum
in approximately 30 seconds.
Two overhead carriages
support the rubber frame,
which can be easily closed
at the either end. Six
toggle clamps bring the
rubber frame seal into
contact with the glass
frame. The vacuum contact
exposure frame represents
a fundamentally correct
concept for the exposure
of large and medium sized
screens.
The glass of the machine
is permanently vertical
and securely held in a
strong steel frame. Screen
frames are placed against
the glass while resting
on the bottom support
lip of the vertical frame.
The flexible rubber blanket
has an inner (replaceable)
fabric blanket for durability
and easy air evacuation.
The blanket carrier frame
moves horizontally on
sealed barings and locks
with a simple lever clamp
at each end. This blanket
carrier can be moved by
a single person. Access
into the frame can be
done from either side
of the equipment.
The rear support frame,
glass carrier and the
angled front legs are
bolted to the floor. The
rear support can be bolted
to a wall using optional
brackets, thus allowing
removal of the angled
legs for greater space
saving.
In conclusion, AMK-BSF
Series silk screen frames
have a proven design and
offer major benefits over
conventional horizontal
glass frames, such as
less floor space requirement.
