AMK
COMPRESSIBLE PRINTING BLANKETS |
 |
DESCRIPTION |
 |
AMK
compressible printing blankets
are high quality, technically
advanced products, especially
designed for the most demanding
printers of today. The most important
characteristic of the AMK blankets
is its carcass, which employs
radial technology that provides
incredible tensile strength, stability
and eliminates the need for re-packing
due to reduced gauge sinking.
Moreover, the compressible layer
of the product improves usage
and durability of the product
with excellent smash and edge
marking resistance. Finally, the
surface layer has been micro-ground
to provide superior ink transfer
and printing characteristics.
Our technologically advanced conversion
and barring facility ensures our
customers receive first class
blankets that are press ready
and quality assured. Minimum downtime
is achieved through our wide range
of bars. These bars are attached
to the blankets using high pressure
press and the security of the
bar attachment is ensured by a
highly effective epoxy adhesive.

CHARACTERISTICS |
 |
ADVANTAGES |
|
 |
| Exceptional
carcass utilizing Radial
technology |
Gives
incredible strength and
stability on the press.
Low stretching and sinking
values eliminate the need
for re-tensioning. |
|
Closed cell compressible
layer |
Uniform
compressibility reduces
blanket-to-plate pressure,
thus resulting in controlled
dot gain values, while maintaining
excellent smash and edge
marking resistance. |
| Micro-ground surface |
Guarantees
excellent ink transfer for
both conventional and UV
print modes. Provides excellent
dot reproduction with superior
sheet release, as well as
resistance to pressroom
chemicals. |
| Sealed bottom layer |
Provides
protection against water
and chemical penetration
and reduces cylinder-sweating
tendencies. |
